HIDDEN HILL NURSERY AND SCULPTURE GARDEN will host The 7th Annual Monarch Celebration. Each year the Arts Council of Southern Indiana hosts this event to celebrate the annual migration of the Monarch butterfly.

The event has grown over the years and we are fortunate to be collaborating with Hidden Hill. Now the event will take place amid the beautiful gardens, greenhouses and sculpture of Hidden Hill. This will provide the butterflies with the perfect habitat and our visitors with a myriad of wonderful gardens, activities and yes SHADE.

This letter is to request support for the upcoming Monarch Festival. The Arts Council of Southern Indiana and Hidden Hill Nursery and Sculpture Garden are dedicated to providing arts education programming for our community.

This year the Monarch Celebration will take place on Saturday July 15, 2017 from 12:00 – 5:00pm. The Celebration uses art to teach the sciences of: ecology, biology, and horticulture. This year the celebration includes artist demonstrations, educational programming, plant sale, performances, music, hands-on art activities for adults and children, bubble field, fairy gardens and our butterfly release all in the wonderful atmosphere of Hidden Hill.

There is no booth fee as long as each booth has an educational component. We provide in school educational programming helping  schools to install monarch gardens on their grounds.

This year we have an opportunity for a naming sponsorship at $5000 for the whole festival, and for multiple local sponsors at the $1000 level and in-kind donations.

If you choose to support our program, your logo will be included on all posters, printed media and press releases and a representative will be acknowledged at the event. You will also be given the opportunity to have a booth at the celebration and to provide volunteers for the activities.

Each year the attendance and press coverage for this event has grown. Fox 41, Whas11 and Wave 3 have all filmed from the event and we have had feature stories in the News and Tribune, Courier Jounal, Leo, SoIn, and the Madison Roundabout.

Please let me know if you would like more information or if you have questions or suggestions.

Thank you for your support of the Arts!
